Eligibility For CDM Certified Dietary Manager Exam

The CDM exam requires candidates to have graduated from ANFP (Association of Nutrition  Foodservice Professionals )  approved dietary manager training program. Alternatively the candidate must provide two year or four year college degree in foodservice management or nutrition or related degree such as culinary arts and hotel restaurant management. The candidate can also be eligible is he/she possesses state approved or other approved 90 hour foodservice course along with two years of institutional foodservice management experience. Also current and former members of US military graduated with approved military dietary manager program with grade E-5 can become eligible for the certified dietary manager exam.

Format Of CDM Certified Dietary Manager Exam

The exam is conducted twice a year. The exam certification is provided after candidate passes this exam and can be renewed for an annual fee.The examination is of four hours duration and fees is $130. The examination comprises 200   multiple choice questions.
