Eligibility For IDEX California Interior Design Examination

The education Board lists certain eligibility criteria which should be met to get the certification. For IDEX exam, candidate should have 2 years of formal education and 5 years of work experience. 

Format Of IDEX California Interior Design Examination

The IDEX exam includes questions occupational analysis, pyschometrical soundness, examination validation, examination development etc. This exam includes 150 multiple choice questions. The total duration for completion this exam is 3 hours or 180 minutes. This exam is available online and hence candidate can appear again for the exam after the period of 30 days.
