Eligibility For NBDHE National Board Of Dental Hygenist Exam

The eligibility condition require individual candidate to be a student of dental hygiene program. The individual candidate of the examination can also have the graduation certification from dental hygiene program accredited by CODA during the time individual was enrolled in the program to be eligible for the test. A graduate of the US or Canadian dental hygiene health program is an alternate qualification for fulfilling the criterion of exam eligibility..  The individual candidate must also be competent in providing dental health care to individuals and worked for six hours per week in clinical practice.

Format Of NBDHE National Board Of Dental Hygenist Exam

The fee for the exam is about $380. The examination is formatted to include questions from topics that include general education, biomedical and dental sciences, and dental hygiene sciences. The passing score in the exam is 75 while the test centers where the exam is conducted is for prometric testing centers only.
